Chinese Porcelain Snuff Bottle with Dragon Decoration, circa 1900

A Chinese porcelain snuff bottle of flattened circular form, decorated in richly coloured enamels with a sinuous red dragon amid blue clouds, set against a vibrant yellow ground with green foliage and ornamental scrollwork. The neck is embellished with floral motifs.

The base bears a blue-painted Chinese mark, possibly an apocryphal imperial mark. The style and decoration suggest a possible late Qing or Republic Period attribution, although the precise date remains unconfirmed.

A vivid example of Chinese decorative porcelain combining traditional dragon imagery with an exuberant polychrome palette.
