€ 450,00
Italian maiolica plate from the Deruta School, executed in the Renaissance Revival style, circa 1930–1950. Hand-painted with a lively hunting scene depicting hunters, dogs, and various game set within a wooded landscape. The central cartouche is inscribed with the date “1678”, referencing the historical source that inspired the decoration rather than the date of manufacture. The broad rim is decorated with a traditional blue geometric border. A beautifully executed and highly decorative example that reflects the enduring craftsmanship and artistic traditions of Italian maiolica.
