Japanese Taishō Period Ebonized Wood Display Vitrine, circa 1925
€ 1.050,00
Elegant Japanese Taishō-period display vitrine, circa 1925, constructed in dark ebonized wood with glazed front and sides. The cabinet retains three glass shelves and a warm, textured interior backing, with a small original metal closure to the front. The restrained architectural form and finely worked wooden frame are characteristic of Japanese decorative arts of the period.
An elegant and highly versatile cabinet for displaying small works of art, ceramics, lacquerware, netsuke or other collectibles.
