Privacy statement

Collectables by Jan de Raad, Hinthamerstraat 92, 5211 MS ’s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands (jan@janderaad.com), is responsible for the personal data received through this website. This statement explains what that data is, what it is used for and how long it is kept.

What we keep, and why

• A question or offer sent through the form: your name, email address, your message and any amount offered. Only to answer you. We keep this for at most two years, unless it leads to a sale.
• An order: your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address and the piece you bought. Needed to complete the sale, arrange delivery and issue an invoice. Invoices and the data on them are kept for seven years, as Dutch law requires.
• Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card or bank details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them. Stripe only tells us that payment was made, together with the details above.

Who we share data with

With Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland) for payment, and with our technical provider for hosting this website and sending email; the servers are in the European Union. For a delivery we give the delivery address to the carrier. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

Cookies

This website uses no tracking cookies and no analytics. It only sets functional cookies: a visitor cookie that prevents abuse of the forms and the checkout, and a login cookie for site management. Your saved pieces are stored only in your own browser.

Your rights

You can ask which data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted (unless the law requires us to keep it), and object to its use. Email jan@janderaad.com. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
